Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Schulz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fredrick Wulfsburgh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wulfsburgh has chosen The Wolf Is Loose - Mastodon as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, John Schulz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fredrick Wulfsburgh! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schulz fails with a takedown attempt. Wulfsburgh tests Schulz's chin there with a solid looking shot. Wulfsburgh uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Schulz. Schulz takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Schulz digs a good hook to Wulfsburgh's body.
Schulz checks the leg kick nicely there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wulfsburgh closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Schulz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wulfsburgh.
Schulz lands with a nice body punch. Wulfsburgh lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Wulfsburgh throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Schulz scores with a takedown into Wulfsburgh's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Schulz stopping the sweep attempt from Wulfsburgh.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schulz slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Schulz advances position into side control! Schulz taking a breather here. Schulz landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Wulfsburgh is looking to reverse the position. Wulfsburgh struggling a bit here. Wulfsburgh is trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schulz working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Schulz trying to control the action but Wulfsburgh is working from the bottom. Wulfsburgh wants to control but Schulz postures up. Schulz is looking to take a break and control but Wulfsburgh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Schulz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Wulfsburgh throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
You can see the frustration on Wulfsburgh's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. This has been an exciting period of action! Schulz happy to just control the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schulz looks up at the clock and then as Wulfsburgh takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Schulz smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Schulz scores with punches from side control. Schulz happy to just control the position for now. Schulz working away. Schulz lands a nice forearm strike. Check out the look on Schulz's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Wulfsburgh is being controlled here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wulfsburgh can do anything to dispel that myth. Schulz landing a few strikes. Schulz lands an elbow. Wulfsburgh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Schulz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Schulz scores with punches from side control. Schulz is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Wulfsburgh's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wulfsburgh tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Schulz wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Schulz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wulfsburgh keeps working. Wulfsburgh takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Wulfsburgh reaches up around Schulz's neck trying to control. But Schulz takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for Wulfsburgh! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Wulfsburgh is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Schulz celebrates the victory with the fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). John Schulz! Our winner, John Schulz, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
