Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dilbert Pickles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garry Zimmermann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zimmermann shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pickles's guard.

Zimmermann avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Zimmermann trying to control the position from guard on top but Pickles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Pickles isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Zimmermann stacks Pickles on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Zimmermann!

Zimmermann looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Pickles tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Zimmermann wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Zimmermann is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pickles knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Zimmermann wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pickles, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pickles sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Zimmermann is trying to control the action in half guard but Pickles is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Zimmermann can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pickles is looking to escape.

Zimmermann wants to control from the top but Pickles keeps moving.

Zimmermann has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Pickles to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Zimmermann is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Pickles pulls down on the head and he's put Zimmermann to sleep! This one is all over!
