The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown lands with an uppercut that bounces Ferguson off the cage and back into range.
Ferguson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brown swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Brown ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ferguson moves away.
Nice shot lands for Ferguson.
Brown blocks a head kick by Ferguson.
Ferguson misses with the combination.
Brown tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Brown avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brown pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Havvik Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ferguson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Brown escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brown throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ferguson on the side of the head.
Ferguson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A telegraphed right hand from Brown misses the target.
A swing and a miss from Ferguson.
Brown throws a low kick, looking for Ferguson's leg but Ferguson calmly moves out of range.
Brown swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Brown looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ferguson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brown sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Brown slips under a jab from Ferguson.
Brown lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Brown throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ferguson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Brown. That one must have hurt.
The fighters circle momentarily. Brown darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ferguson scores with a hook to the body. Brown takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Brown thows a body shot but no joy.
Brown throws a front kick that sends Ferguson stumbling back into the cage.
Brown misses with a kick to the body.
Ferguson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Brown connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ferguson scrambles back to his feet.

Ferguson is rocked!
Brown lets loose with a powerful body kick. Ferguson will feel that in the morning.
Ferguson is still on wobbly legs! Can Brown finish him?
Ferguson looks gassed!
Ferguson switches off momentarily and Brown cracks him with a monster right hand! Ferguson topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Brown dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Brown!
