Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaxon Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman The Raptor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jaxon Bailey has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jaxon Bailey seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roman The Raptor!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey has closed the distance and engaged The Raptor in a clinch.
The Raptor manages to break the clinch.
Bailey moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Roman The Raptor has been cut.
Bailey lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bailey keeps the fight on the outside.
The Raptor gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bailey working hard to break the clinch.
Bailey has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics The Raptor uses from the top position.
Bailey is looking to stand up but The Raptor isn't so interested in that idea.

Bailey working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. The Raptor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. The Raptor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The Raptor wants to stand and escape but instead Bailey has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Bailey throws a nice outside leg kick.
The Raptor chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bailey can pounce on him.
Bailey is looking to clinch.

Bailey cracks The Raptor with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fight stays on the outside here - The Raptor looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Bailey lands a nice leg kick that just misses The Raptor's sensitive parts.

That kick from Bailey tenderised The Raptor's leg. The Raptor is trying to keep his angry face on.
Bailey buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bailey moves in looking to clinch but The Raptor pushes him off.

and Bailey counters with a head kick that drops The Raptor to the mat! The Raptor scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
The Raptor is looking to clinch but Bailey is avoiding it.
Bailey cracks the inside of The Raptor's front leg.
Oooooh!!! Bailey has knocked The Raptor down with a huge combo! Bailey steps away and waves a wobbly The Raptor back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
The Raptor is rocked!

Crunch! Bailey slams his shin into The Raptor's torso.
Jaxon Bailey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bailey goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
The Raptor is still on wobbly legs! Can Bailey finish him?
Bailey moves to clinch but The Raptor breaks away
and The Raptor counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by The Raptor.
The Raptor seems to have recovered his senses.
Bailey tries to circle away but The Raptor has him pinned against the cage.
The Raptor has Bailey pressed against the cage, preventing Bailey from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Bailey jumps guard and drags The Raptor to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Raptor drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bailey looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bailey looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bailey!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Roman The Raptor's cut.
That's time! Bailey's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A left and a right from Bailey both land. Nice combination.
The Raptor closes the distance but Bailey moves to the side
and Bailey counters with a slapping leg kick.
Bailey looks to land a combination. The Raptor sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
The Raptor on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bailey fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and The Raptor has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
A lazy left from Bailey finds it's target.
The Raptor wants to clinch up but Bailey keeps it at a distance.
Bailey turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Bailey closes the distance and pushes The Raptor back into the cage.
The Raptor is breathing heavily.
Bailey blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Bailey putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has The Raptor in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Bailey is trying to push The Raptor away but The Raptor has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

The Raptor's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Bailey. The Raptor shrugs it off though.
The Raptor wants to clinch.
Bailey fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bailey lands a front kick.

Bailey jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Bailey lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Bailey lands a big head kick that sends The Raptor tumbling to the mat! Bailey takes a step backwards and waves The Raptor back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Bailey feints with a jab and clips The Raptor right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! The Raptor is sent crashing into the canvas and Bailey leaps in for the kill! The Raptor tries to get to his feet but Bailey is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that The Raptor is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jaxon Bailey!
