Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Sanderrs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ninja Assassin!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assassin is looking to clinch.

Assassin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sanderrs looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Assassin scores with punches from side control.
Assassin works to advance to full mount. Sanderrs defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Assassin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
It looks like Assassin might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Assassin scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Assassin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Assassin lands a heavy elbow.


Sanderrs is rocked!


It looks like Luke Sanderrs has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Assassin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Assassin jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Sanderrs manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Assassin is staying tight to Sanderrs's torso, preventing him from escaping.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sanderrs taking punishment in the form of punches.
Assassin grinds an elbow into Sanderrs's temple.
Sanderrs manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Assassin is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Sanderrs has his hands clasped together but Assassin extends an breaks Sanderrs's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Assassin.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ninja Assassin!
In his post fight interview, Ninja Assassin started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
