Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Commio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricci Boyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricci Boyd told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Commio misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boyd looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
That kick from Commio tenderised Boyd's leg. Boyd is trying to keep his angry face on.
No joy there for Commio, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Commio will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tommy Commio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Boyd rushes Commio and presses him up against the cage.
Boyd is looking to control Commio's arms but Commio gets an underhook and turns him. Now Boyd has his back to the cage.

Boyd tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Boyd closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Commio does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Commio swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Boyd has an Americana. Commio didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Boyd is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Boyd hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
