The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archangel chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Deathgrip can pounce on him.

Archangel looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Deathgrip with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Deathgrip bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Archangel's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Deathgrip makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Archangel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Deathgrip. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Deathgrip doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Archangel counter with a right hand.
Archangel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Deathgrip tries to avoid it but Archangel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Deathgrip to the ground. Deathgrip escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
