The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunham fails with the takedown.
Diotte throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dunham.

Diotte throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dunham sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Dunham steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Diotte.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Diotte swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dunham doesn't manage to clinch there - Diotte circles away.
Diotte dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dunham throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Diotte scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Nice defenses there by Dunham.
Diotte connects with a body shot that sends Dunham's belly button to the back.
Dunham fails with a takedown attempt.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dunham tries to close the distance and clinch but Diotte swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Some bone on bone action there as Dunham checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Diotte dominated that round.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Dunham shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Diotte but Diotte pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Andrew Diotte seems to be getting the better of the standup.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Diotte is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Dunham is looking to work some ground and pound but Diotte has wrist control.
Diotte has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Diotte has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Dunham doesn't defend quickly enough and Diotte has managed to lock this one up! Can Dunham escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Diotte on a fantastic submission victory.
