Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Wain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elijah Paris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wain comes to the cage accompanied by Bring the Noise. Paris is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Document One - Clap. John Wain is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Wain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Elijah Paris! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wain shoots in and drives through. Paris sprawls well. Wain shoots and misses and Paris counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like John Wain has been cut. Paris misses with an uppercut. Wain saw that one coming. Paris swinging wildly here.
Wain closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Paris to the mat! Paris manages to get full guard. Wain postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Wain sitting in guard here, content to control. Wain is looking to advance position but Paris has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wain can't escape the position.
Wain has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Paris working for a submission but Wain is keeping him at bay. Wain is trying desperately to improve position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paris unloading with bombs! Paris moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Wain has worked his arm free - good work by Wain!
Wain gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Wain regains full guard. Nicely done. Wain has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Paris can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Wain wants to sweep but no luck. Paris gets to his feet - Wain follows without any prompting. Paris clinches up with Wain and pushes him back against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Wain has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Paris clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Wain working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Paris defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Wain's arms. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Paris can't escape the position.
Paris is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Wain gets his way!

Wain has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Paris turns into Wain and is now in his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paris wants to pass the guard but Wain is keeping the position. Paris is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Paris postures up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wain is on top in guard.
Wain slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Wain is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Paris knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Wain tries for a kimura but Paris is defending well.

Wain works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wain is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Paris is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Wain dominated that round. The cut man is working on John Wain's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Wain tries to score a power double leg takedown but Paris sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wain somewhat. Elijah Paris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wain gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Paris counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Wain is looking for a triangle but Paris pushes his legs off easily.
Paris trying to control the position from guard on top but Wain is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wain is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Wain is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Wain is trying to control the position from the bottom.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Elijah Paris hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Wain uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Paris. Paris has Wain up against the cage in a clinch.
Paris manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Wain trying to control the position from guard on top but Paris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Paris had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wain defends it easily. Wain thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wain drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Wain seems to have locked his on tight now - Paris screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Wain, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). John Wain! John Wain made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'I like boobs'.
