Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Diaz pinned against the cage. Diaz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Diaz lands with a cross.
Diaz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Diaz is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, Diaz circles away and we're back to standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Diaz wants to control but Silva is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Diaz is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silva's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silva's back!

Silva has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Diaz has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
