Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clay Guida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Floring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jon Floring will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Clay Guida! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jon Floring! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Floring shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Guida circles away from the clinch attempt and Guida moves into the clinch. Guida pulls guard successfully.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Guida kicks Floring off and gets to his feet. Guida instigates a clinch. Floring looks gassed! Guida manages to pull guard.
Guida lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Floring! Guida lands with some strikes. Guida in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
This has been an exciting period of action! Guida scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Floring?

That's one minute gone in the round. Guida controlling his opponent. Guida lands a nice shot to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Guida takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Floring really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guida. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Guida looking to secure an arm triangle but Floring defends it well. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Guida cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Guida working for a guillotine from mount but Floring is in no mood to give up. Guida landing strikes from the mount and Floring is in trouble!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guida is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Floring to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Floring shrugs it off. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Guida lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Guida wants to finish this one by submission but Floring is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Guida. Guida controlling from the full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guida lands a big elbow. Guida controlling the pace for now. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Guida cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Guida postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Floring looks a forlorn figure.

Floring is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Guida controlling from mount. Floring is still in real trouble! Can Guida finish him? Floring is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Floring tries to reverse the position but Guida maintains control. Guida is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Floring can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Floring defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Guida. Guida working the ground and pound effectively.
Guida controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Guida postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Floring in real trouble here! The ref calls for Floring to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Clay Guida! Our winner, Clay Guida, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
