The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hunt drives through with a takedown into Alexander's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hunt's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

It looks like Sean Alexander has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hunt passes Alexander's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Hunt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hunt slips a nice elbow through Alexander's hands, connecting with Alexander's forehead.

That has opened up Sean Alexander's cut even more.

Hunt stands up out of the half guard.
Alexander tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hunt sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Alexander somewhat.
Alexander looks gassed!
Hunt throws a head kick but Alexander moves out of range.

Hunt gets a powerful takedown and that's hurt Alexander.
Hunt grinds an elbow into Alexander's temple.

Alexander is rocked!
Hunt wants to lay and pray for a moment but Alexander keeps working.
Hunt lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Alexander down.

Hunt creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Alexander is letting Hunt control him for a moment.
Hunt cracks Alexander with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Hunt immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Alexander is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Hunt!
