The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Dixon finds it's way through Pagliera's defenses.
Dixon fails with an attempt to clinch.

Dixon closes the distance and pushes Pagliera back into the cage.

Dixon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Pagliera rushes Dixon and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Dixon breaks from the clinch.
Pagliera misses with a straight right.
Dixon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pagliera's waist but Pagliera gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dixon off to one side.

Dixon lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Pagliera stops a takedown attempt from Dixon.

Dixon is trying to push Pagliera away but Pagliera has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Pagliera has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dixon is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Dixon throws a punch but it's blocked by Pagliera.

Pagliera wants to control from the top but Dixon keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pagliera wants to stand but Dixon is controlling his posture from full guard.

Pagliera stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dixon swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dixon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pagliera doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pagliera manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Pagliera wants to get up but he can't break Dixon's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Dixon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Pagliera counters with a two punch combo.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
