Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeki Ata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bowman's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dark Tranquillity - Misery's Crown. Ata is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by E.S. Posthumus - Unstoppable . On his way into the cage it seems that Pete Bowman has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Pete Bowman seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ata rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Bowman to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Zeki Ata has been cut.
Bowman goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Ata buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bowman swings for the body but Ata moves out of range.
Ata scores with a sloppy right hand. Bowman should have avoided that one.
Donk. Ata catches Bowman right on the button with a cross.
A decent looking cross lands there for Ata.
Bowman throws a hook but Ata avoids it easily.
Bowman throws a body punch but Ata moves out of range.
Ata misses with a low kick.

Bowman connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Bowman throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Ata fails with a takedown attempt.
Ata misses with a wild body shot.
Ata needs to keep his hands up - Bowman had a free shot at his head there.
Ata avoids the body shot from Bowman.

Bowman throws a head kick but Ata moves out of range.

Ata shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Bowman throws a leg kick which misses Ata's front leg but catches the back leg as Ata tries to avoid it.
Bowman is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Bowman rushes Ata and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bowman gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ata.
Ata is working for takedown but Bowman is calmly controlling the position for now.
Pete Bowman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zeki Ata.
Bowman lands a hook to the side of the head.

That has opened up Zeki Ata's cut even more.
Bowman lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Ata avoids a wild elbow strike from Bowman.
Bowman lands a hook that snaps the head of Ata backwards.

Ata tries to throw a body punch but Bowman avoids it by throwing Ata back against the cage.
Ata tries to work over Bowman's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Bowman lands an uppercut.

Bowman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ata is still on wobbly legs! Can Bowman finish him?
Ata cracks Bowman with an open hand slap.
Bowman lands a nice looking body kick.
Ata seems to have recovered his senses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bowman shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Bowman throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Ata swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bowman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bowman blocks a leg kick.
Bowman throws a wild body kick that Ata sees coming a mile off.
Bowman throws a hook to the side of Ata's head but Ata sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bowman looks to score with a jab to the body but Ata is just out of range.

Bowman checks a low kick from Ata.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
That kick from Bowman tenderised Ata's leg. Ata is trying to keep his angry face on.
Bowman cracks Ata on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Ata falls backwards against the cage. Bowman follows up with more strikes that drop Ata to his knees. Bowman keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Ata! This one is all over!
