Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurmelainen checks a low kick from Wukong.
No luck for Nurmelainen with that takedown attempt.
Nice defenses there by Nurmelainen.
Wukong shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Wukong misses with a low kick.
Nurmelainen tries to clinch up but Wukong circles away and keeps his distance.
Nurmelainen wants to slow Wukong down by chopping away at his legs.
Wukong swinging wilding here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wukong keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nurmelainen throws a sloppy head kick and Wukong moves out of range easily.

Nurmelainen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wukong throws out the jab.
Nurmelainen throws a big shot that misses.
Wukong fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wukong swats away the attempt to clinch by Nurmelainen.
Nurmelainen seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Wukong shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Nurmelainen is backing up but Wukong catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Nurmelainen covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Wukong Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Son Wukong!
