Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sunny Day! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chan Wook Parker! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Day takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Parker connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Parker throws a nice looking combination but Day bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Day fails with a takedown attempt. Parker with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Parker ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Parker defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Day. Parker stuns Day with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Jab by Parker. Day shoots in and drives through. Parker sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sunny Day. That's going to take a lot out of him. Parker digs a good body shot into Day's ribs. Day misses with a takedown attempt - Parker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Day shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Day dives in and grabs Parker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Parker pushes down on Day's head and hops out. Day tries to clinch up but Parker circles away and keeps his distance. Parker tries a head kick but it misses.
Parker's corner calls for a 1-2. Parker obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Day fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Parker avoids it really well and circles away. Nice takedown defense from Parker. No joy for Day on that attempt. Day gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Parker counters with a three punch combo that has Day backing up. Day nods at Parker to acknowledge the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parker fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Parker throws a head kick that half lands.

Parker scores with a hook to the body. Day takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Day shoots for a takedown but Parker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Parker throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Day. Parker has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Day shoots and misses and Parker counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Chan Wook Parker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Day is breathing heavily. Parker lands a nice shot that snaps Day's head back.
Parker connects with a body shot that sends Day's belly button to the back. Parker lands with a straight right. Day didn't see that one coming. Parker throws a leg kick which misses Day's front leg but catches the back leg as Day tries to avoid it. A slapping body kick lands there for Parker.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Day eats them both and turns towards Parker to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Day is rocked! Day takes one to the chin there. Oh Day is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Parker connects with a crisp jab. Day seems to have got his legs back now. Parker feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Day's calf. Parker paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Day has his takedown stuffed and Parker counters with a straight right hand. Parker with a nice cross. Day fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Parker avoids it really well and circles away. Parker throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Parker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Day takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Day dives in and grabs Parker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Parker pushes down on Day's head and hops out. Parker looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Parker connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Day momentarily.
Parker scores with a crisp jab that stopped Day in his tracks. Good exchange - Parker coming out on top. Day closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Parker.
Day misses with a shot to the body and Parker counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Day throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Parker's waist but Parker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Day off to one side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chan Wook Parker dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Day shoots in looking for a takedown but Parker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Day's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Parker goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Day fails with the takedown and Parker counters with an outside leg kick.
Day throws a leg kick but Parker sees it coming and checks it nicely. Day fails with an attempt to clinch.
Parker digs a good body shot into Day's ribs. Day fails with the takedown and Parker makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sunny Day. That's going to take a lot out of him. Day looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Parker fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Day throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Day misses with a takedown attempt - Parker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Parker cracks Day with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Day moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Day on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Parker thuds his right hand into Day's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Chan Wook Parker seems to be getting the better of the standup. Parker cracks Day with an open hand slap. No joy there for Parker, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Parker. Day walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Parker stalks Day and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Day's face. Day staggers backwards, shaken. Day dives in and grabs Parker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Parker pushes down on Day's head and hops out. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Day. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Parker fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Day shoots in for a takedown but Parker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Day on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Parker drops Day with a beautiful combination! Day stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Parker is looking for the KO! Day gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Parker gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chan Wook Parker! Chan Wook Parker seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
