The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Brand to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Brand trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Brand working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of King's head.
King looking for a sweep. Not yet King, not yet.
Brand in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Brand throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
King preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Brand throws a strike but King rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
King throws a sloppy strike and Brand has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! King is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Brand!
