Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Keita Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skyler Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Nelson's choice of entrance music: One. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Keita Aoki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Skyler Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoki fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Aoki will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nelson is defended easily by Aoki.

Nelson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Nelson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Aoki kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Nelson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Aoki might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Aoki has control of Nelson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Nelson regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Nelson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nelson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Aoki off and has taken his back!

Nelson looking to break Aoki's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Aoki remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Nelson will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Nelson is trying to stick to Aoki's back but Aoki is turning into Nelson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Nelson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Aoki.

Well Nelson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
