Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Meat Loaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loaf comes to the cage accompanied by War is my destiny. Brooks is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Tom Sawyer. Tyler Brooks has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tyler Brooks!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Brooks has closed the distance and engaged Loaf in a clinch.
Loaf lands a hook that snaps the head of Brooks backwards.
Brooks tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Loaf avoids it.
Loaf lands with a right to the head.
Loaf lands a nice shot to the body.
Brooks wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Loaf lands a left hand that snaps the head of Brooks backwards.
Loaf makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Brooks tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Loaf smiles and moves away.
The crowd cheers as Loaf lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brooks doesn't seem phased though.
Brooks tries to clinch but Loaf moves away
and Loaf cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Loaf has taken the fight to the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Loaf digs a right hand underneath Brooks's ribcage. Brooks let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Loaf breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Loaf fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brooks sprawls well initially but Loaf persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Loaf scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Loaf missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Brooks trying to control but Loaf postures up.
Loaf is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Brooks!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Loaf with shots to the head and body - Brooks looks very uncomfortable down there.
Brooks throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
BOOM! Loaf connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Loaf controlling the position easily from mount.
Brooks can't escape the position.
Brooks tries to lock up and control but Loaf gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Loaf can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brooks is looking to escape.
Loaf has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Brooks is looking to improve his position but Loaf isn't that keen on the idea.
Brooks tries to hold on but Loaf postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Loaf postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Brooks looks a forlorn figure.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Loaf breaks from Brooks's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Brooks tries to reverse the position but Loaf maintains control.
Loaf scoring with strikes but Brooks is staying in there.
Loaf tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Loaf fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Brooks is rocked!
Brooks keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Brooks is still in real trouble! Can Loaf finish him?

Loaf cracks Brooks with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Meat Loaf!
A very excited looking Meat Loaf made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
