Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ken Oath!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Barry Sandoval!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oath avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sandoval crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Oath - the referee stops the clock and Sandoval gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Oath. Sandoval manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Sandoval swings widly with a right hand
and Oath counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sandoval thinking.
Oath pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Oath misses the jab.
Oath fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sandoval checks it well.
Sandoval throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Oath lands with a straight right. Sandoval didn't see that one coming.
Oath moves out of range as Sandoval strikes.
Sandoval throws a leg kick that is checked
and Oath counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sandoval thinking.
Oath thows a body shot but no joy.
Oath scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sandoval doesn't seem bothered though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Oath on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sandoval. Sandoval obviously looking to wear him down.
Oath lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Sandoval has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sandoval there as he acknowledges the shot.
Sandoval punishes Oath's body with a nice straight punch.
That kick from Oath tenderised Sandoval's leg. Sandoval is trying to keep his angry face on.

It looks like Ken Oath has been cut.
Oath is looking to wear down Sandoval with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Oath thows a left - swing and a miss!

Oath throws a body punch but Sandoval moves out of range.
Sandoval throws a right and a left that both miss.
Oath lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Oath tries to score with a low kick but Sandoval moves his leg out of the way.
An inside leg kick lands from Sandoval.
Oath looks to land a right hand but Sandoval moved out of range.
Sandoval lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Oath at a distance.
Oath wants to clinch up but Sandoval keeps it at a distance.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Sandoval checks a leg kick.
Oath ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sandoval moves away.
Oath punishes Sandoval's body with a nice straight punch.

Sandoval misses with a wild body shot.
Oath is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

and Sandoval makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Oath throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Oath looks to land a left hand but Sandoval moved out of range nicely.
Oath misses with a leg kick
enabling Sandoval to counter with a crisp jab.
Some bone on bone action there as Sandoval checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Nice straight punches there by Sandoval. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sandoval.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sandoval takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Oath misses with an uppercut. Sandoval saw that one coming.
Oath goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Oath throws a solid leg kick but Sandoval takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Oath.
Sandoval punishes Oath's body with a nice straight punch.
Oath is breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Sandoval lands a big right hand that sends Oath crashing to the mat! Sandoval stays standing though and waves Oath back to his feet!


Oath is rocked!
Sandoval misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oh Oath is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Oath throws a body punch but Sandoval moves out of range.
Oath misses with a hook to the body
and Sandoval finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Oath seems to have got his legs back now.
BOOM! Sandoval lands a beautiful left hook that drops Oath. Oath tries to recover but Sandoval is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Oath lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Barry Sandoval!
Barry Sandoval very nearly forgot to thank Black Market Pharmacy and Laundromat amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
