Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leroy Guns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jo throws the kick towards the body but Guns avoids it.
Guns throws a big shot that misses.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Guns enables jo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Guns manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Guns looking for a sweep. Not yet Guns, not yet.
jo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guns has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but jo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
jo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Guns swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Guns wants to sweep here but jo controlling him for the moment.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bob jo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Guns escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. jo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Guns lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for jo!
Guns will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Leroy Guns will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
jo is looking to clinch but Guns is avoiding it.
jo shoots for a double leg takedown but Guns sprawls well. He's pushed jo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
jo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Guns sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten jo somewhat.

Guns throws a combination. jo tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Bob jo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Guns is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Guns, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
