Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salim Al Muri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Muri tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance.

Al Muri shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jones manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Al Muri moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Al Muri distracts Jones with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Al Muri's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Jones wants to get back to his feet but Al Muri is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Al Muri throws a big elbow that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones has his feet on Al Muri's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Al Muri wants to take the fight to the mat but Jones manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Jones wants to get back to striking at distance but Al Muri won't allow it.

Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
