Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nate Kyzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Meredith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyzer's entrance music is All of the Lights. A fine choice. Meredith has chosen Four Kicks as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nate Kyzer! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Meredith! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meredith looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Meredith moves in looking to clinch but Kyzer pushes him off. Meredith shoots in looking for a takedown but Kyzer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Meredith's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Kyzer scores with a kick to the midsection. Meredith fails in his attempt to clinch. Meredith needs to keep his hands up - Kyzer had a free shot at his head there. Kyzer with a body punch. A glancing blow. A slow jab from Kyzer misses its intended target. Kyzer walks forward, straight into a front kick from Meredith. Meredith will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nate Kyzer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Meredith. Meredith moves in looking to clinch but Kyzer pushes him off. Kyzer defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Meredith. Meredith has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Meredith there as he acknowledges the shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Meredith gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Meredith throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kyzer. Kyzer throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. A jab lands there for Kyzer. Kyzer lands with a kick to the temple. Meredith shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Kyzer lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
That's one minute gone in the round. Meredith tries to clinch and Kyzer makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Meredith tries to clinch but Kyzer moves out of range. Meredith on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Kyzer connects with a jab. Kyzer misses with an uppercut. Meredith throws a chopping leg kick but Kyzer manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Kyzer scores with a nice right hand.
Meredith shoots in but no luck this time. Kyzer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Kyzer goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Meredith drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Meredith darts in and clinches Kyzer up against the cage. Meredith drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
This has been an exciting period of action! Kyzer lands a body shot in the clinch.
Meredith looks gassed! Kyzer avoids a wild elbow strike from Meredith.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kyzer breaks from the clinch.
A leg kick checked by Kyzer. Meredith takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Meredith shoots in and drives through. Kyzer sprawls well. Kyzer scores with a jab to the head.
Kyzer misses with an uppercut. Meredith takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Meredith has a takedown stuffed. Kyzer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Meredith on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Kyzer slips a nice elbow through Meredith's hands, connecting with Meredith's forehead. Kyzer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Meredith does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Meredith is trying to maintain the position but Kyzer is very close to passing his half guard. Kyzer is looking to take a break and control but Meredith is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kyzer looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Meredith with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kyzer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Meredith does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Meredith is trying to get back to full guard. Meredith slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Meredith working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kyzer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kyzer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kyzer preventing the sweep. Kyzer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kyzer advances to half guard. Kyzer is looking to take a break and control but Meredith is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kyzer is really struggling to control Meredith but he's trying to hold on to the position. Meredith is controlling Kyzer's trapped leg to prevent Kyzer from advancing to side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Meredith wants to get back to his feet. Meredith has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Kyzer escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Kyzer! Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Kyzer decides to take the fight back to the feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kyzer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kyzer misses with a looping left. Kyzer looks to land a left hand but Meredith moved out of range nicely. Meredith moves into the clinch. Meredith misses with a knee to the head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kyzer blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Kyzer manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Kyzer digs a right hand underneath Meredith's ribcage. Meredith let out a lung full of air as it connected. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nate Kyzer dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Good standup being displayed there by Kyzer as he connects with a hook. Chris Meredith is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kyzer missing with a left hand there. Meredith was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kyzer throws an off balance right hand
and Meredith counters with a straight right hand. Kyzer shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Meredith manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Meredith looking for subs off his back but Kyzer has passed one foot through into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Meredith manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Kyzer stopping the sweep attempt from Meredith. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kyzer loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kyzer connects with a couple of short punches.

Nice work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kyzer throws a strike aimed at the side of Meredith's head but Meredith avoids it well. Kyzer has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Meredith! Meredith wants to hold on but Kyzer pushes him away. Kyzer landing strikes from the mount and Meredith is in trouble! Meredith wants to hold on but Kyzer pushes him away. Meredith is working to get back to half guard.

The referee warns Meredith that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Meredith is rocked! Kyzer postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Meredith out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Kyzer goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
