Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Hindu Kush! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Napoleon Moreau! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kush lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Moreau moves out of range of the body kick from Kush.
Kush shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Kush scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kush is looking to take a break and control but Moreau is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Moreau is looking to control Kush's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Moreau avoid being mounted? Moreau wants to get back to full guard. Moreau moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Kush throwing strikes but missing. Moreau manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kush manages to get himself to full guard.
Kush working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Moreau. Kush might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Moreau throws a sloppy strike and Kush has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Moreau is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Kush!
