Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Clay Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Park Doo Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Davis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Clay Davis -- Sheeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttttttttt. Doo Man comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Terry Lee Brown Jr. - Magic prison kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Clay Davis has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Clay Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Park Doo Man ! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis lands an overhand right. Davis fails to land the takedown. Doo Man throws a leg kick which misses Davis's front leg but catches the back leg as Davis tries to avoid it. Davis scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Davis is looking for a kimura here.
Doo Man keeping hold of Davis's head, controlling as best he can. Davis looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Davis is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Davis throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Doo Man wants to get back to full guard. Doo Man manages to get to full guard.
Davis has gone for a leg lock! Doo Man slips out almost immediately though and dives into Davis's guard. Davis working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Doo Man has passed into half guard!
Doo Man seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Davis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis is pressing down on Doo Man 's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Davis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Doo Man gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Doo Man trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Doo Man looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Doo Man has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Davis to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Doo Man is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Davis pulls down on the head and he's put Doo Man to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Clay Davis! A relieved looking Clay Davis thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
