The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lessouf shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Elbaek pinned against the cage. Elbaek gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lessouf looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Elbaek is fending him off so far but Lessouf persists. Nope, Elbaek circles away and we're back to standing.
Elbaek closes the distance and clinches up with Lessouf, looking for a takedown. Elbaek pushes Lessouf against the cage but Lessouf circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Elbaek shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lessouf defends it nicely.

Lessouf has gone for a leg lock! Elbaek slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lessouf's guard.
Elbaek really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lessouf. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lessouf has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Elbaek can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oh but Lessouf is tightening it up a little... Elbaek has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Elbaek reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Elbaek taps out! Nice BJJ there by Lessouf!
