Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Randy Randall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hercules Rockefeller!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Fedor Mirinova and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randall wants to slow Rockefeller down by chopping away at his legs.
A low kick from Rockefeller misses

so Randall counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Randall trying to control the position from guard on top but Rockefeller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Randall tries to free his leg and advance position but Rockefeller is retaining full guard.
Randall not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Randall preventing the sweep.
Randall looking to pass the guard.
Rockefeller wants to sweep here but Randall controlling him for the moment.
Randall trying to control the position from guard on top but Rockefeller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Randall takes one to the chin there.
Rockefeller throws a lazy right hand but Randall sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Randall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rockefeller shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Rockefeller misses with an uppercut.

Randall scores with a takedown into Rockefeller's guard.

Randall thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Randall slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Randall looking to pass the guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rockefeller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Randall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Randall stands and throws Rockefeller's legs to the side, diving into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Randall is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rockefeller is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Randall is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Rockefeller is trying to escape and Randall transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Rockefeller is forced to tap! Nice work there by Randall! Very nice indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Randy Randall!
During a confident post fight interview, Randy Randall thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
