Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joey Karate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olav Erikson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karate comes to the cage accompanied by Keith Murray - Slap Somebody. The crowd seem to be enjoying Erikson's choice of entrance music: Testament - Eyes of Wrath. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Karate misses.
Erikson throws a lazy right hand but Karate sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Karate looks to land a right hand but Erikson moved out of range.
Erikson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Karate was well out of range. Poor timing from Erikson.
Erikson misses the shot to the body.
A lazy left from Erikson finds it's target.

Karate slips a jab and a cross from Erikson.

Karate lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Karate gets caught napping as Erikson dives in and scores a takedown. Karate manages to retain guard.

Erikson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Karate can't keep his opponent in guard - Erikson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Karate is looking for a sweep. Erikson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Erikson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Erikson is thwarting Karate's attempts to control the position.
Erikson is looking for a kimura but Karate is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Erikson to get the leverage.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Erikson lands a nice short elbow.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Karate regains full guard. Nicely done.

Erikson is nestled in close to Karate, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Erikson loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Karate scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Erikson land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Erikson stands and salutes the crowd.
