Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pumola Chang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adelard Desormeaux!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chang thuds a left hand into Desormeaux's body.
Chang thows a body shot but no joy.
Chang dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Desormeaux throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chang.
Chang avoids a punch combination nicely.
A nice inside leg kick there by Desormeaux. That's going to slow Chang down.

and Chang counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Desormeaux shoots for a takedown but Chang saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Desormeaux shoots in looking for a takedown but Chang manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Desormeaux's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Chang rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Desormeaux moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Adelard Desormeaux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chang ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Chang fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Chang's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Chang duly obliges.
Desormeaux uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chang.
Chang lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Desormeaux at a distance.
Desormeaux takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Chang lands a nice looking body shot.
Desormeaux ducks right into an uppercut from Chang.
Desormeaux motions for Chang to come forward. Desormeaux throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Chang scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Chang works over Desormeaux's head and body with a nice combination.
Chang connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Desormeaux's hands.

Desormeaux gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Chang gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Desormeaux is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
