Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mr Sub (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skinner Danielson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Skinner Danielson! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sub misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sub clinches. Danielson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Sub blocks a body shot from Danielson. Danielson tries to throw a body punch but Sub avoids it by throwing Danielson back against the cage. Sub blocks a punch to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is keeping an eye on Danielson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Sub shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Danielson eats them both and turns towards Sub to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Mr Sub seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sub with a body punch. A glancing blow. Sub scores with a head kick.
Danielson takes a kick to the side of the head. Sub closes the distance and clinches. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Danielson fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Danielson swings wildly with an uppercut but Sub uses good head movement to avoid it. Danielson tries to land knees in the clinch but Sub avoids the damage to the body.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Danielson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Danielson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sub is aware though and is defending well. Danielson has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Sub has passed into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Danielson can do anything to dispel that myth. Danielson is trying to control Sub's posture but Sub avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Danielson is looking to regain half guard here but Sub keeps moving and retains side control. Sub tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Sub really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Danielson is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mr Sub will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Danielson. Sub lands on the inside with an uppercut. Danielson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Sub's elbow. Sub blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Sub has Danielson pressed against the cage.

It looks like Skinner Danielson has been cut. Danielson jumps into guard, dragging Sub to the mat.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Danielson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Danielson avoids the head kick by Sub.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Danielson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Mr Sub has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Danielson takes one on the button. Sub thuds his shin into the meat of Danielson's side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sub scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Sub plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! A clash of legs there as Sub blocks the low kick. A head kick from Sub lands but Danielson takes it in his stride. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sub avoids the body shot from Danielson.
Mr Sub is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Danielson thows a leg kick but Sub checks it and Sub counters with a big head kick but Danielson shrugs it off. Danielson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sub paws at him with a jab and circles away. A slow jab from Danielson misses its intended target. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sub with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Danielson shoots for a double leg takedown but Sub sprawls well. He's pushed Danielson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A jab from Danielson misses. Sub lands a front kick. Danielson looking to score a takedown here. Sub is defending well but Danielson drives through and ends up in Sub's guard. Danielson is stalling in the full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Danielson passes Sub's left leg - he's now in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Danielson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Sub is in trouble now - Danielson has advanced to mount!

Mr Sub has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Danielson looking to secure an arm triangle but Sub defends it well. Danielson scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Sub?
And that's the end of the fight! Skinner Danielson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Danielson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
