Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Avon Stringer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abdul Malik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malik comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Soldier Side kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Avon Stringer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Abdul Malik!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malik drives through and clinches with Stringer against the cage.
Malik is trying to break the clinch but Stringer has him pressed against the cage.
Malik tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Malik wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Stringer has him pressed against the cage.
Stringer breaks the clinch.
Stringer wants to slow Malik down by chopping away at his legs.
Stringer darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Abdul Malik has been cut.

Malik lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Avon Stringer has been cut.
Malik gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Stringer lands a right hook to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stringer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stringer bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Malik's head.
Stringer throws a head kick but Malik moves out of range.
Stringer jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Nice defenses there by Malik.
Stringer clobbers Malik with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Stringer walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Malik checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Stringer connects with a good right hand that stumbles Malik. Malik circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Stringer takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stringer swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Malik counters with a left and a right that stings Stringer.
Stringer lands a hook that stumbles Malik back into the cage. Stringer follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Malik to the canvas! Stringer pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Malik has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Avon Stringer!
