Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lee Machin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randon Rett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rett has chosen Gimme Shelter--Rolling Stones as his entrance music. Randon Rett will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lee Machin! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Randon Rett! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machin tests Rett's chin there with a solid looking shot. Machin connects with a leg kick. Rett looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Rett moves out of range as Machin strikes. Machin misses the shot to the body. Rett throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Machin was covering up waiting for the punch and Rett finishes the takedown easily into guard. Machin is controlling Rett's posture. Rett working some strikes from top position. Machin looking for a guillotine here but Rett defends easily.
Rett content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rett trying to control the position from guard on top but Machin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rett pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Machin is keeping the position for now. Machin controls Rett momentarily but Rett frees himself. Machin tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rett missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Rett working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Machin wants to stand and escape but Rett is having none of it. Rett postures up in Machin's guard and throws a big left but Machin blocks it. Machin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rett wants to control from the top but Machin keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A slapping leg kick lands for Machin.
Machin takes a swing at Rett's ribcage but misses. Rett swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Machin falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rett counters with a nice body shot. Machin pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Rett takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rett showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Machin.
Machin throws a head kick but Rett moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Machin throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Machin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Lee Machin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Machin misses with a hook. Rett needs to keep his hands up - Machin had a free shot at his head there. Machin misses with a combination
and Rett counters with a series of strikes. Machin will be more careful next time no doubt. Rett throws a body punch but Machin moves out of range. Jab by Machin. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Machin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Machin avoids the body shot from Rett.
Rett uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Machin. Rett shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Machin is trying to defend but Rett finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Machin wants to control but Rett is keeping busy and won't allow it. Rett trying to control the pace. Machin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rett throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Machin to regain full guard. Machin seems keen to control Rett's posture. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lee Machin dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Machin throws a nice looking combination but Rett bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Machin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rett.
Machin works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Rett bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Machin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rett at a distance.
Rett fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Rett uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Machin. Machin throws a body punch but Rett moves out of range. Machin scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Rett is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Machin rather than just go for the knockout. Rett walks into a straight right hand from Machin.
Rett is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rett. Rett is still on wobbly legs! Can Machin finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round. Machin connects with a right that clearly hurt Rett. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Machin proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Rett collapses and taps out under the pressure!
