The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whales moves out of range of the body kick from Marella.
Marella with a lazy takedown attempt
and Whales counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Santino Marella has been cut.
Marella closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Whales throws a looping overhand right but Marella ducks down to avoid it.
Donk. Whales catches Marella right on the button with a cross.
Nice takedown defense from Whales. No joy for Marella on that attempt.
Marella walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Marella is rocked!
Marella shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Whales counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
