Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stelios Xenos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jukkis Karvakorva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Karvakorva's choice of entrance music: DIABLO - Icaros . Stelios Xenos has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stelios Xenos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
19 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Jukkis Karvakorva!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karvakorva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Xenos is fending him off so far but Karvakorva persists. Nope, Xenos circles away and we're back to standing.
Xenos gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Karvakorva accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Xenos controlling Karvakorva's posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Xenos looking for a guillotine here but Karvakorva defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Karvakorva working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Xenos wants to sweep but no luck.
Xenos is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Xenos utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Karvakorva looking to pass the guard.

Karvakorva with a flurry of punches that miss.
Xenos trying to keep a closed guard but Karvakorva is proving a slippery customer.
Xenos preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Karvakorva throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Xenos works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Karvakorva lands a couple of digs.
Xenos is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Karvakorva trying to hold on to Xenos's head to control him but Xenos postures up.
Xenos is working for a kimura but Karvakorva is defending it quite comfortably.
Karvakorva wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Xenos is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Karvakorva is looking for a sweep. Xenos is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Xenos is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Xenos seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Karvakorva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Xenos stalling.
The fighters are battling for position here. Karvakorva manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Xenos trying to control but Karvakorva is working from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Stelios Xenos just wasn't active enough.
A jab from Karvakorva misses.

Xenos scores with a body shot.
Karvakorva throws a left and a right that both miss
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Karvakorva tries a head kick but it misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Karvakorva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Karvakorva throws an overhand right that lands on Xenos's shoulder, as Xenos tries to avoid the shot.
Xenos throws a low kick but Karvakorva avoids it.
Karvakorva shoots in but no luck this time.
Karvakorva pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Karvakorva tries to clinch up but Xenos circles away and keeps his distance.
Xenos leaves Karvakorva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Stelios Xenos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jukkis Karvakorva.
Karvakorva misses the jab.
Karvakorva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Xenos's waist but Xenos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Karvakorva off to one side.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Karvakorva with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Xenos to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Jukkis Karvakorva has been cut.
Karvakorva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nice defenses there by Karvakorva.
A clash of legs there as Karvakorva blocks the low kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Stelios Xenos will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Jukkis Karvakorva's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!
Xenos waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Karvakorva.
Xenos lands a left and a right that send Karvakorva crashing to the mat, dazed. Xenos thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Karvakorva is rocked!
Jukkis Karvakorva is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Xenos cracks the inside of Karvakorva's front leg.
Karvakorva is still on wobbly legs! Can Xenos finish him?
Xenos connects with a leg kick. Karvakorva looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Karvakorva is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Xenos doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Karvakorva crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Karvakorva's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Stelios Xenos!
A relieved looking Stelios Xenos thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
