Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Kesler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Slaughter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kesler comes to the cage accompanied by Cancer Bats - Deathsmarch. Slaughter is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bulldozer - Goldishack Guerrillas. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slaughter rushes Kesler and presses him up against the cage. Kesler lands with a short head shot on the inside. Kesler lands a right hand. Slaughter blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Kesler. Slaughter misses with a hook from the clinch. Slaughter fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Slaughter lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Kesler wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Slaughter working aggressively here.
Slaughter blocking some punches.
Slaughter lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Slaughter blocking some punches.
Slaughter throws an elbow but it misses.
With the fighters up against the cage, Slaughter throws an elbow but misses. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kesler pushes Slaughter back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Slaughter misses with the head strike.
Kesler takes an elbow to the temple. Kesler scores with a hook to the body. Kesler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kesler gets tackled into the cage by Slaughter. Slaughter maintains the clinch. Kesler throws a head punch that misses. Slaughter lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kesler backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slaughter is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kesler is defending well for now. A head punch on the inside from Slaughter fails to land. Slaughter pushes Kesler back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Slaughter misses with an elbow strike.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Kesler. Kesler lands a body shot in the clinch.
Slaughter looks gassed! Kesler breaks the clinch.
Kesler swings for the body but Slaughter moves out of range.
Kesler lands a big head kick that sends Slaughter tumbling to the mat! Kesler takes a step backwards and waves Slaughter back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Slaughter is rocked!
It looks like Josh Slaughter has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Slaughter moves into the clinch successfully.
Slaughter swings wildly with an uppercut but Kesler uses good head movement to avoid it. Still in the clinch, Kesler scores with a nice short uppercut. Kesler lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Slaughter backwards. Slaughter is still on wobbly legs! Can Kesler finish him? Kesler blocking some punches.
Kesler gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Kesler lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Slaughter or not. Kesler creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Slaughter with a big uppercut! Slaughter tries to clinch up but Kesler pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Slaughter to the mat! Slaughter covers up and Kesler unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
