Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tomas Railway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirill Barabanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tomas Railway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kirill Barabanov!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Railway moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Barabanov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Railway defends it nicely.
Railway connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Barabanov momentarily.


It looks like Kirill Barabanov has been cut.

Tomas Railway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Barabanov darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Barabanov connects with a nice short shot to Railway's temple.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Tomas Railway will probably get the nod.

That's time! Railway's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Railway pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Barabanov back to the ropes. Railway follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Barabanov is rocked!

Barabanov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Railway was covering up waiting for the punch and Barabanov finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Barabanov is still in real trouble! Can Railway finish him?

Barabanov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Railway does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Railway moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Railway lands a left and a right that send Barabanov crashing to the mat, dazed. Railway thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Barabanov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Railway - the referee stops the clock and Barabanov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Railway. Barabanov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Barabanov has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Railway.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Barabanov moves forwards but Railway connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Railway lands a lovely overhand right.


That has opened up Kirill Barabanov's cut even more.
Railway fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
The fighters circle, before Railway throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Barabanov's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Railway lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Tomas Railway!
