Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between The Primetime Player (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Homeless Drunk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drunk jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Drunk moves forwards but Primetime Player connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Primetime Player lands an overhand right.
Drunk throws a looping overhand right but Primetime Player ducks down to avoid it.
Primetime Player scores with a jab.
Drunk tries to clinch but Primetime Player is having none of it.
Drunk looks to throw the jab but Primetime Player is out of range.
Primetime Player misses the jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Drunk misses with a right hand
and Primetime Player counters with a stiff right hand.
Drunk throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Primetime Player missing with a left hand there. Drunk was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Drunk keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Homeless Drunk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Drunk slips a straight right by Primetime Player.
Primetime Player waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Drunk.

Drunk will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Primetime Player leaves Drunk with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Drunk on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Drunk slips under a jab.
Drunk misses with an uppercut. Primetime Player saw that one coming.

Primetime Player moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Drunk is defended easily by Primetime Player.
The Primetime Player has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Homeless Drunk.
Drunk takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Primetime Player getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Drunk tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Primetime Player jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Primetime Player is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Primetime Player lands the left hand.

and Drunk cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Drunk looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
A swing and a miss from Primetime Player.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
The Primetime Player dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Drunk misses with a looping left.
Drunk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Primetime Player paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Primetime Player misses with a hook.
Primetime Player jabs Drunk right on the nose. Drunk blinks but takes it well.
Primetime Player lands a jab to the head.
Primetime Player connects with a nice looking jab.
Primetime Player drives through with a takedown into guard.
Primetime Player has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Primetime Player engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Primetime Player knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Drunk on the ground.
Primetime Player won't allow Drunk to sweep him here.
Primetime Player sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Drunk is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Primetime Player frees his head nicely. Oh but Drunk has switched to an armbar! Primetime Player is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

In his post fight interview, Homeless Drunk gave a big smile as he said 'Where's the bar and do they got hookers???'.
