Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, JT Warwagon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Travis Night! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jonathan Paton and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Night avoids a punch combination nicely.
Warwagon misses with a body kick. Warwagon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Warwagon darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Warwagon connects with a nice short shot to Night's temple. Warwagon working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Warwagon with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Night wants to get back to full guard. Night looks gassed! Night avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Warwagon.

That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Warwagon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Warwagon working the ground and pound. Warwagon working the head with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Night takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Night taking punishment in the form of punches.
Warwagon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Warwagon looks up at the clock and then as Night takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Warwagon smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Warwagon wants to control but Night is keeping him busy. Warwagon is chipping away with strikes.
Night is rocked! Warwagon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Night keeps working. Night taking a bit of punishment here - Warwagon scoring with strikes. Night is still in real trouble! Can Warwagon finish him? Night is trying to get back to half guard. Night seems to have recovered his senses. Warwagon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Night keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Warwagon working the head with strikes. Night is not content to let Warwagon control the position. Warwagon scoring with punches from side control. Warwagon moves into full mount! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Night tries to hold on but Warwagon pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
JT Warwagon dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Night keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Warwagon throws a head kick that misses. Night tries to clinch up. Night uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Warwagon.
Night tries for a takedown but Warwagon circles away easily and Warwagon decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Night's guard. Warwagon advances position into side control! Warwagon is looking to take a break and control but Night is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Warwagon working the body and head with strikes. Night is breathing heavily.

Warwagon trying to control the position but Night is working away. Night is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Warwagon's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Warwagon takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Night has hold of Warwagon's hands but Warwagon slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Night is looking for a sweep. Warwagon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Warwagon in particular looking to stall. Night actively working from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Warwagon is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Warwagon wants to take a breather but Night is having none of it. Warwagon is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Night is in trouble now - Warwagon has advanced to mount! Night tries to get back to half guard but can't. Night is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Warwagon looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
JT Warwagon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Warwagon controlling the position easily from mount. Night is bucking up trying to escape but Warwagon cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Warwagon connects with a bit shot that sees Night covering up! More strikes from Night and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Warwagon is our winner by TKO!
