The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lucas has closed the distance and engaged Miller in a clinch.

Miller works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Miller in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Miller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lucas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lucas is pulling down on Miller's head to control his posture.
Miller must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Lucas manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Lucas wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

Lucas has hold of Miller's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Miller manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Miller keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Miller bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Miller content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Lucas has locked up a guillotine! Lucas's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Miller is holding on here and Lucas must be using up a lot of energy. Miller has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Lucas gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
