Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johan Herberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rashad Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Wu Tang - Triumph kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rashad Jackson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herberg decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Jackson tries to roll over but Herberg keeps him under control.
Herberg works his way into side control.
Jackson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Jackson is trying to control Herberg's posture but Herberg avoids it.
Herberg tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Herberg has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jackson is looking for a sweep.
Jackson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jackson tries to bench press Herberg off him but Herberg keeps the position.

You can see the frustration on Jackson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Herberg wants to work for an arm triangle but Jackson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Herberg lands with a punch from half guard.
Herberg throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Herberg lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
It looks like Rashad Jackson has been cut.
Herberg trying to pass the guard but Jackson defending well.
Jackson is looking for a sweep. Herberg is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Herberg got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Herberg has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted.
Herberg lands a couple of digs.
Jackson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Herberg doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Herberg manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Jackson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Herberg's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Jackson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Herberg manages to get to full guard.

Herberg breaks from Jackson's wrist control and lands an elbow.
