The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Yourface. Garcia throws a left and a right that both miss
and Yourface cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A jab from Yourface finds it's way through Garcia's defenses. Garcia throws a series of punches but Yourface moves out of range. Garcia just misses with a punch to the body.
Leonard Garcia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A momentary lapse in concentration from Yourface enables Garcia to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Garcia is looking to work some ground and pound but Yourface has wrist control. Garcia postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Yourface wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Yourface has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Garcia should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Yourface has tightened it up now! Garcia should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Krackin Yourface! A very excited looking Krackin Yourface rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
