Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Filipo Greco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy joins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Greco might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Wogalicious. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greco shoots in but no luck this time.
A big right from Greco misses.

Greco rushes joins and presses him up against the cage.

joins tries to pull guard but Greco won't allow it.
Greco wants to break the clinch but can't.
joins will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Greco up against the cage.

joins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Greco. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

joins is looking to improve his position but Greco isn't that keen on the idea.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Greco seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but joins does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Greco slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Greco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. joins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Greco lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Greco takes a swing at joins's ribcage but misses.
Greco shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with joins but joins pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Greco seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
joins wants to pass the guard but Greco is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Greco is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Greco isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. joins stacks Greco on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by joins!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Greco moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
