Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mandingo Munchousen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Malaka! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Munchousen tries for a takedown but Malaka sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Malaka shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Munchousen defends it nicely. Munchousen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Munchousen clinches. Munchousen tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mandingo Munchousen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Munchousen can't find room to land a body shot as Malaka controls the action.
Malaka keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Munchousen's efforts to push away. Munchousen manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Munchousen drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Malaka gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Munchousen is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Malaka jumps into guard, dragging Munchousen to the mat.
Munchousen wants to get up but he can't break Malaka's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Malaka throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Munchousen trying to control but Malaka is working from the bottom. Munchousen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Malaka working for a triangle but Munchousen defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Malaka keeping full guard, as Munchousen tries to pass. Malaka lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Munchousen! Malaka is working for a guillotine from mount but Munchousen frees his head quite easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Malaka controlling the pace for now. Malaka is standing up, even though he is in mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Malaka shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Munchousen's guard. Malaka drops back looking for a leg! Munchousen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Munchousen manages to kick Malaka off! Malaka jumps back into Munchousen's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Malaka dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Munchousen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Munchousen is stalling here. Malaka is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Munchousen seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Malaka has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Malaka is looking to take a break and control but Munchousen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Munchousen shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Malaka manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Malaka is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Munchousen rolls with it to try and escape but Malaka cranks on the arm and Munchousen is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
