1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Hawks! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Hawks, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Foley stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hawks. A punch combination from Hawks misses. Hawks scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Foley is rocked! Foley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Foley is pushing Hawks's head away, looking to escape. Hawks manages to hold on to the position though. Oh Foley is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Hawks lands a decent elbow from side control. Hawks working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawks landing strikes. Foley is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Hawks is controlling him well. Hawks wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Foley, who protects the arm well. Foley seems to have got his legs back now. Hawks scores with a couple of short elbows. Hawks looks gassed! Foley is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hawks has just dragged him back down to the mat. Hawks working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The ground and pound from Hawks seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Hawks tries for a kimura but Foley is defending well. Foley wants to get back to his feet but Hawks drags him back down. Hawks moves into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Foley is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Hawks has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Hawks is working for a guillotine from mount but Foley frees his head quite easily.
This has been an exciting period of action! Foley is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hawks jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Foley manages to avoid the submission attempt. Hawks tries for a kimura but Foley is defending well. Hawks in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Foley throws Hawks to one side and escapes! Hawks moves away from the strike by Foley. Hawks fails to land with a series of punches.
Foley throws a hook but Hawks blocks it. Hawks takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Foley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hawks. Hawks cracks Foley with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Hawks lands with a nice combination. Foley backs away looking to recover. A swing and a miss from Foley. Foley with a jab. This has been an exciting period of action! Foley throws a hook but Hawks blocks it. Hawks walks straight into a right hand from Foley - that's dropped him! Foley jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Hawks from any more punishment! Hawks complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
