The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Chegod gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Chegod takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Nice takedown defense from Carter. No joy for Chegod on that attempt.
Carter swings for the body but Chegod moves out of range.
Chegod throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like DeShawn Carter has been cut.
Nice jab there from Chegod.
Carter is rocked!
Chegod shoots in for a takedown but Carter shows good takedown defense.
Carter is still on wobbly legs! Can Chegod finish him?
Carter dives in and scores a takedown into Chegod's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Carter is looking to stand up but Chegod won't let him.
Carter looking to sit in guard and control but Chegod gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Chegod is looking to work some ground and pound but Carter has wrist control.

Chegod really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Chegod is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Carter has escaped the position, nice work there.
Carter is trying to buck Chegod off.
Chegod has hold of Carter's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Carter seems comfortable defending it but Chegod has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Carter is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Carter is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Chegod couldn't care less - he's delighted!
