Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Davids (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Dwinell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Davids!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, BJ Dwinell!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davids drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Davids jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dwinell is on top in guard.

Davids has his foot on Dwinell's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dwinell works his way back into a safe position though.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dwinell connects with a nice short shot to Davids's temple.

Dwinell throws a strike but Davids avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dwinell sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Davids's guard.
Dwinell thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Dwinell thows a huge punch but Davids dodges it nicely.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Davids moves into full guard.

Davids wriggles free and stands up.
Dwinell wants to clinch up but Davids keeps it at a distance.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Davids shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dwinell as he avoids it easily.
Davids tries a head kick but it misses.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jake Davids showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Davids has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
