The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlos moves out of range as Santos strikes.
Santos uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Carlos.
Santos steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Carlos.
Santos slips under a jab.
Carlos looks to land a right hand but Santos moved out of range.
Carlos misses with a left hand
and Santos connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Carlos closes the distance and pushes Santos back into the cage.
Carlos is trying to break free.
Carlos wants the takedown. Santos is fighting it off but Carlos persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Santos's guard against the cage.
Santos is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Carlos rolls with it to try and escape but Santos cranks on the arm and Carlos is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
