The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Gon DIas as Man shoots in.
Gon DIas fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gon DIas connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Man is defended easily by Gon DIas.
Gon DIas throws a right hand that Man ducks under and follows up with a left that Man also avoids with ease.
Crunch! Gon DIas slams his shin into Man's torso.
Gon DIas throws a right hand that Man ducks under and follows up with a left that Man also avoids with ease.
Man shoots for a double leg takedown but Gon DIas sprawls well. He's pushed Man's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Raf Gon DIas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bat Man.
Man darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Gon DIas pushes Man off and gets back to his feet.
Gon DIas lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Bat Man has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Man moves out of range of the body kick from Gon DIas.
Man throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Man throws a jab when Gon DIas was well out of range.
Man shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gon DIas as he jumps to the side.
A punch combination from Man misses.
Man throws a combination. Gon DIas tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Gon DIas lands a big head kick that sends Man tumbling to the mat! Gon DIas takes a step backwards and waves Man back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Man is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Gon DIas has cracked Man with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Gon DIas lands another huge swinging hook and Man tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Man, before Gon DIas can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Raf Gon DIas!
An out of breath Raf Gon DIas thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
