Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denis Valentinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Denis Valentinov was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva wants to clinch.

Valentinov shoots in and bounces Silva off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Valentinov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Oh Silva is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Valentinov is in close to Silva's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Valentinov gets to his feet and stands over Silva, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Silva felt that one! Valentinov unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Silva from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Denis Valentinov!
