The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Satinho. Hansen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Satinho throws a poor cross that misses
and Hansen counters with a left to the body.
Hansen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Satinho looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Satinho lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Satinho tries to score with a low kick but Hansen moves his leg out of the way.
Hansen keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Satinho.
Hansen stuffs the takedown attempt from Satinho. Satinho gets slowly back to his feet.
Satinho throws a leg kick but Hansen sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Hansen tries to kick Satinho off in order to stand up. Satinho Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Satinho jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hansen is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hansen and Satinho has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Satinho.

Satinho drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Satinho jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Good leg kick by Satinho there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Satinho shoots for a double leg takedown but Hansen sprawls well. He's pushed Satinho's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
